Diane Matuszewski, born on December 21, 1961, in Winnipeg, MB, Canada, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2024.
Diane embraced life with a passion that was reflected in her many hobbies and interests. A devoted animal lover, Diane cherished her time spent with her beloved fur babies, Timber and Gabby, who brought her endless joy and companionship. Her compassionate nature also led her to support the Sporting Detection Dog Association, where she contributed her time and efforts to a cause she deeply cared about.
She was known affectionately by friends and her Princess Auto family as "Grumpy". She will be forever remembered by all that loved her.
Diane was an avid wildlife photographer, often exploring the stunning landscapes of Manitoba to capture the beauty of nature. Her artistic flair extended to painting and various crafts, allowing her to express her creativity in multiple forms. Music played a significant role in her life, with a particular fondness for the songs of Rod Stewart that resonated with her spirit. Maggie Mae, Forever Young.
Diane's warmth, creativity, and love for animals will be remembered by all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and a passion for life that will be missed by family and friends alike.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024 from 1:00pm to 3:00 pm at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day Street.
