I had the pleasure of teaching with Anita for nearly 20 years at St Maurice School. For our final years she returned to the role of Educational Assistant and I was honored and humbled tio have her assistance teaching Math. She was very intelligent and intuitive with a very sharp sense of humour. Some staff fitted a Friday morning breakfast club known as the Splinter Group where the affairs of the world and many other pressing matters were discussed. As noted we were a family, enjoying get togethers, potluck dinners, and game nights together. I fo believe our students recognized how close we all were and benefitted from this atmosphere. Gone too soon, and suffered too long; rest in peace Ms Andrew's.
