Obituary of ROSE DELMA BOUDREAU

With sadness, we announce that Rose Boudreau, mother of Pauline Chartrand, Patsy Coutu (Albert), Pam Lafreniere, Lenard (Sharon), Frank (Marilyn), Norma Allard (Hector), Marlene Allard (Marcel), Louis Jr. (Earlene), Skinny (Joanne), Bev Lavallee (Tim Sr.), Joanne (Donald), Paul (Verna), Karen Munro (Wayne) & Guy (Sandra), passed away with her family at her side, on Sunday, October 6th, 2024 at the Stonewall & District Health Centre at the age of 96.
Born on June 5th, 1928, to Joseph & Emerise Desjarlais, she joined her siblings Joe, Louis, Patrice, Jules, Eugene, Harvey & Exilia as the youngest of the family.
On December 28th, 1942, she married Louis Boudreau. They shared many happy years together which included their sixteen children. As the years passed Mom was also fortunate to see her family expand to include six generations, which consists of 43 grandchildren, 116 great grandchildren, 77 great great grandchildren and seven great, great, great grandchildren.
Rose was predeceased by her husband Louis Sr.in 1988, her sons Joseph (in infancy) & Gary in 1989, sons-in-law Marcel, Roy, Dobby & Urbain, two grandsons, four great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was also predeceased by her parents and all her siblings.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Neil Gaudry Assisted Living Centre in St. Laurent for the years of care they provided. Also, many thanks to the staff of the Stonewall & District Health Centre for the compassion and care provided in her final days.
Prayers will be held on Saturday, October 12th, 2024, at 7pm at Cropo Funeral Chapel.
Viewing at 10am followed by funeral mass on Tuesday, October 15th, 2024, at the St. Laurent Roman Catholic Church, St. Laurent MB. Interment to follow in the Parish Cemetery.
