My Avó gave me a sense of who I was and where I came from, she raised me, protected me and took my side when the world didn't make sense. I'm going to miss your intense sense of humor, your strong character even though it wasn't everyone's cup of tea, your portuguese cooking and baking, your hard working hands, the hands that always met me with open arms. Your incredibly loud kisses the ones that left a permanent ringing in the ear and most of all your tenacity, a trait I know that lives within me. I miss you dearly and I know you're finally resting in peace. You had a long and full life and will forever be loved.
