Obituary of MARIA TAVARES

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend to many.

Mom passed peacefully with her family by her side, on May 29, 2024 at the age of 90. 

Mom was predeceased by our father, Ernesto and brother, Lionel.

Left to cherish and hold on to her memory daughter Paula (Tim), son Peter, daughter Margret, 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

What matters is the dash of all the time spent alive on earth with my mom, and now only those who loved her know what that little line is worth

For it does not matter on how much we own, the cars… the house or materialistic things. What matters is how we lived and loved and how spent our dash.

My Mom was our Beacon of light, she inspired, guided and always brought hope and strength to others.

It will never be Goodbye Mom; it's I will see you later. Love you Always
