Karen and Mike,
My sincere sympathy on the passing of your dear mother and mother-in-law. My memory of her dates back to Camp Nutimik when she would stop in at the kitchen to greet the staff (I would be one of those helping with a week of cooking for those hungry campers). What impressed me about her was her radiant smile and happy disposition. I vaguely remember the Care Packages of her baking that would be sent to you while we were all attending NABC. As I learned more about her while watching and listening to her service, I realized the deep impact and lasting legacy she has left behind. May the memories of her give you comfort in the days to come.
Marge Koberstein (nee Krahnke in our NABC days)

Dear Viola, Rod and girls
I wish you and the rest of your family God's strength and peace as you grieve the death of your mom. While I was sad to hear of this, it also brought back warm memories of your mom and dad. They were wonderful to have as next door neighbours, friendly, down-to-earth and very kind. (And Sunnyside Cemetary-I have a few relatives at that lovely place on the hill).
Sending blessings to you all, Cheryl (McClure) Thiessen (formerly of 1149 Rosewell Place) xo
